1.3 Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in any subscription service, you agree to these Subscription Terms and our main Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not sign up for subscription services.

1.4 Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Subscription Terms from time to time. We will provide you with at least thirty (30) days' written notice before any material changes take effect. Your continued use of subscription services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. HOW SUBSCRIPTIONS WORK

2.1 Subscription Service Overview

Our subscription service allows you to receive regular deliveries of your selected products at intervals you choose. You can subscribe to individual products or combinations of products for recurring delivery.

2.2 Subscription Intervals

You may choose to receive deliveries every:

  • 2 weeks

  • 4 weeks

  • 6 weeks

  • 8 weeks

We may adjust these intervals to optimize for local delivery preferences and operational efficiency.

2.3 Account Creation and Management

To use subscription services, you must create a subscription account. Through your account, you can:

  • Manage your subscription preferences

  • Update delivery schedules

  • Modify product selections

  • Update payment information

  • View order history

  • Cancel subscriptions

2.4 Product Availability

     Subscription services are available for most products sold on our Site, subject to:

  • Product availability

  • Shipping restrictions (see Section 11)

  • State-specific regulations

3. SUBSCRIPTION PRICING AND DISCOUNTS

4. BILLING AND PAYMENT

4.1 Initial Payment

4.2 Recurring Billing

For ongoing subscriptions:

  • You will be charged before each scheduled shipment

  • Billing occurs up to 24 hours before dispatch during weekdays

  • Weekend orders may be billed up to 48 hours before Monday dispatch

  • Charges will appear on your payment method as "MADE BRAVE"

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept the same payment methods for subscriptions as for one-time purchases, including:

  • Major credit and debit cards

  • Klarna (where available)

  • Other payment methods displayed at checkout

4.4 Payment Authorization

By enrolling in a subscription, you:

  • Authorize us or our third-party payment processing provider(s) to charge your designated payment method for each subscription order

  • Agree to keep your payment information current and valid

  • Understand that you are responsible for all charges incurred

  • Authorize us or our third-party payment processing provider(s) to store your payment method(s) based on the delivery frequency you select until you cancel. 

5. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND FEDERAL COMPLIANCE

5.1 Automatic Renewal Notice

IMPORTANT: Your subscription will automatically renew according to your selected frequency unless you cancel before your next billing date. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT WE WILL NOT OBTAIN ANY ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZATION FROM YOU FOR SUCH AUTOMATIC, RECURRING PAYMENTS.

5.2 Required Federal Disclaimer

This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

By subscribing, you expressly agree to automatic renewal and authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

5.3 Pre-Billing Notifications

We will send you advance notice by email 3 days before each billing cycle.

Notification will include but is not limited to the following:

  • Upcoming billing date and amount

  • Items to be shipped

  • Instructions for cancellation or modifications

  • Customer service contact information

5.4 Consent Records

We maintain records of your subscription consent for three (3) years as required by federal law, including:

  • Date and time of subscription signup

  • Terms accepted

  • Payment authorization

  • Modification history

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

6.1 Shipping Schedule

  • First Order: Ships within 24-48 hours of subscription signup

  • Recurring Orders: Ship according to your selected frequency

  • Processing Time: Orders typically ship within 24 hours on weekdays, 48 hours for weekend orders

6.2 Shipping Areas

We ship subscription orders to all 50 US states and Washington D.C..

6.3 Delivery Address

  • You must maintain a current delivery address in your account

  • Address changes must be made through your account dashboard

  • We are not responsible for packages shipped to outdated addresses

7. CANCELLATION POLICY

7.1 Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your online account dashboard (recommended)

  • Email to hello@ancientandbrave.com (may take up to 72 hours to process)

  • Phone at (312) 931-8102 (may take up to 72 hours to process)

No cancellation fees apply.

7.2 Cancellation Timing

  • Before Billing: Cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid charges

  • After Shipping: Billing and Shipping may occur within 24 hours of each other. Orders already shipped cannot be cancelled but may be returned per our return policy

7.3 Cancellation Process

The cancellation process is designed to be as simple as your original subscription signup:

  • Online cancellation available 24/7 through your account

  • No requirement to speak with customer service representatives

  • Immediate confirmation of cancellation is available for cancellations made directly through your online account dashboard

  • Cancellations requested via email will be confirmed once processed by our customer service team which may take up to 72 hours.

  • Final shipment details provided

In the event you cancel your subscription, please note that we may still send you promotional communications about our company, unless you opt out of receiving those communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided therein.

7.4 Save Offers

When you attempt to cancel, we may offer alternatives such as:

  • Pausing your subscription temporarily

  • Changing delivery frequency

  • Special pricing incentives

  • Different product options

You are under no obligation to accept these offers and may proceed with cancellation.

7.5 Cancellation Confirmation

Upon cancellation, you will receive:

  • Immediate email confirmation

  • Details of any final shipments

  • Information about reactivating your subscription

  • Confirmation that recurring billing has stopped

7.6 Our Right to Cancel

We may, at our sole discretion, cancel all or part of your subscription order at any time for any reason, in our discretion. If we do so, you will only be charged for orders that have been shipped to you. We may also limit the number of products in your subscription order. In the event we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in abuse of our subscription program, your account may be suspended. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or make changes to these Terms at any time

8. SUBSCRIPTION MODIFICATIONS

8.1 Permitted Changes

You may modify your subscription through your account dashboard. The following is information that you may be able to change: 

  • Product selections

  • Delivery frequency

  • Shipping address

  • Payment method

  • Skip upcoming orders

8.2 Change Timing

You can change your subscription timing in the online dashboard at any time before your next order has been processed.

8.3 Change Limitations

Some changes may not be possible:

  • After billing has occurred for an order

  • For orders already in processing or shipped

  • During high-volume periods (we'll notify you of any temporary restrictions)

9. PAYMENT FAILURES AND RECOVERY

9.1 Failed Payment Process

If your payment method is declined:

  • We will attempt to retry the same payment method up to 5 times

  • Retry attempts may occur over days, weeks, or months

  • You will receive email notification after each failed attempt

  • You may update your payment method anytime through your account

9.2 Payment Recovery Period

During the payment recovery period:

  • Your subscription remains active

  • No shipments will be processed until payment is successful

  • You can update your payment method to resolve the issue immediately

9.3 Subscription Cancellation for Non-Payment

If payment cannot be recovered after 5 attempts:

  • Your subscription will be automatically cancelled

  • You will receive final notification of cancellation

  • You may reactivate your subscription anytime with valid payment information

9.4 No Grace Periods

We do not offer payment grace periods, but you may update your payment method anytime through your account dashboard.

10. PRODUCT QUALITY AND RETURNS

10.1 Subscription Product Returns

Subscription products are subject to the same return policy as one-time purchases:

  • 7-day return window from delivery

  • Products must be unopened and in original condition

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless products are defective

10.2 Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive damaged or defective subscription products:

  • Contact customer service immediately

  • We will replace the item at no cost

  • We will cover return shipping for defective items

10.3 Product Substitutions

In rare cases of product unavailability:

  • We will contact you before substituting products

  • You may choose an alternative product or skip the shipment

  • Substitutions will be of equal or greater value

13. SUBSCRIPTION PAUSING AND TEMPORARY HOLDS

13.1 Skip Options

You may skip upcoming orders for any reason including:

  • Vacation or travel

  • Temporary financial circumstances

  • Oversupply of products

  • Personal preference

13.2 Skip Limitations

  • No minimum or maximum skip periods

  • Skip requests must be made before billing occurs

  • Multiple consecutive skips are permitted

13.3 Skip Process

To skip your next order:

  • Log into your account dashboard before your next billing date

  • Select "Skip Next Order"

  • Shipping carrier delays

18.2 Severability

If any provision of these Subscription Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
