Our impact
LOVE MERCY FOUNDATION

Love Mercy empowers communities in northern Uganda to overcome poverty caused by war and thrive independently. They do this by increasing access to health care, clean water, food security, and income generation.
To date,
we have:
+ Enrolled 900 women in the Cents For Seeds initiative (with an average of six children per household, meaning nearly 7000 people will be positively impacted).
+ Built an NICU corner in the postpartum ward of the Kristina Health Centre providing a safe, welcoming space for women and their newborns.
+ We have donated a total of £189,000 (around $250,000) to the Kristina Health Centre alone to fund the development of a surgical theatre, an upgraded NICU, an upgraded maternity ward, new patient accommodation, a laboratory, a dental clinic, and a cafeteria for staff and patients.
+ Created 15 new income-generating groups - many of which have selected goat rearing as their business activity.
+ Funded the first three months of outreach services for 2023, bringing healthcare to the most remote parts of the district.
+ Built one well for a village in need as part of the Well Worth It project.
What’s next?
Funding the development of the Kristina Health Centre will be truly life changing for communities in Northern Uganda, but the work does not stop there. In 2025, we pledge another £150k (over $200,000) to Love Mercy, to help fund ongoing operations of the theatre including staff salaries and equipment supply.
RAINFOREST CONCERN

We believe wellness is interconnected with the wellbeing of our planet. By working with Rainforest Concern, we are directly contributing to projects that help protect vast areas of forest, safeguard endangered species, and preserve the rights and livelihoods of indigenous communities who rely on these environments.
To date,
we have:
+ Sponsored 62 acres of rainforest in north west Ecuador, supporting the
+ Choco-Andean Rainforest Corridor Project, protecting the biodiversity found in this region.
+ Donated £5,000 (over $6,000) to endangered black-and-chestnut eagle research.
+ Funded new signage and repaired damaged forest guard bridges at the Neblina Reserve.
+ Supported the creation of ecological corridors for spectacled bears to migrate safely in the Tropical Andes.
+ Funded first aid training, equipment, and protective gear to rangers protecting the reserve from hunting, illegal logging, and opportunistic cattle grazing.
What’s next?
We will sponsor the River Bananito project, which will create a forest corridor providing food, water, and access to drinking water for rare cats, tapirs, and critically endangered macaws.
The Lotus Flower

The Lotus Flower was founded in 2016 by former child genocide survivor Taban Shoresh OBE, and has already positively impacted over 84,000 lives. Their mission is to help vulnerable women and girls heal, learn, and grow - supporting them to build sustainable futures beyond conflict and displacement.
To date, we have:
+ Donated £60,000 (over $80,000) to the Swimming Sisters project. This 15-month pilot programme empowers women and girls from refugee and migrant backgrounds by teaching them essential swimming skills - enhancing their wellbeing and promoting social integration.
Our Emissions
We take responsibility for our emissions.
There is a lot of controversy around offsetting, and while our ultimate goal is to eliminate all emissions, we are aware it's a journey. In the meantime, we are committed to offsetting the emissions we produce through credible and verified platforms, actively contributing to the planet’s health.
We understand offsetting is not a permanent solution and are not using it as an excuse to ignore the critical need for real change. Our top priority is reducing our carbon intensity across all areas of our operations, however, to offset the emissions we are yet to eliminate, we purchase carbon credits that are independently verified to meet the Verified Carbon Standard.
In 2023, our emissions were 398 tonnes CO2eq vs 274 tonnes in 2022, covering scopes 1, 2 and 3. Relative to our revenue, this is a 528% decrease in emissions. We offset 100% of our emissions through projects that are independantly verified by the Verified Carbon Standard. We certify with The Change Climate Project every year by offsetting all emisions from the previous year.
To date, we have contributed to the following projects:
2021
Climate Neutral Offset Pool: A collection of eight projects that focus on advancing renewable energy generation, dispersal of efficient cookstoves, and forest conservation around the world.
2022
The Unitor REDD+ Project, Brazil: Conserving 99,035 hectares in the Lábrea region of Amazonas, Brazil, to prevent deforestation and promote sustainable forest management.
2023
Southern Cardamom REDD+ Project, Cambodia: Protecting 497,000 hectares of tropical rainforest in the Southern Cardamom region of Koh Kong Province.
