Ingredients explained

Creatine Creatine

Creatine is a naturally occurring compound found in muscle cells and the brain, known for boosting physical performance by replenishing ATP (adenosine triphosphate) stores, which provide energy during exercise.

It's especially important for those on plant-based diets, as it’s primarily found in animal products. Creatine supports not only muscles but also energy-demanding tissues like the brain and immune system. While the body produces some creatine naturally, levels decline with age, making supplementation the most effective way to maintain optimal stores and enhance physical endurance.

Taurine Taurine

Recently studied as a 'longevity' amino acid, taurine is essential for various bodily functions. Its antioxidant properties support cardiovascular health and may enhance physical performance by reducing muscle fatigue and improving endurance. Additionally, taurine promotes optimal brain function, elevating mental clarity and focus. It also helps maintain electrolyte balance, making it crucial for overall physical and mental well-being. While taurine is naturally found in meat and seafood, we use a vegan source. As our bodies produce less taurine with age, supplementation may sustain vitality and longevity.

Marine magnesium Marine magnesium

Extracted from sustainably harvested red algae from the Irish Sea, our magnesium citrate is highly bioavailable. Magnesium is essential for optimal function, involved in systems and processes throughout the body including energy production, nerve function, glucose regulation and bone and muscle health. Yet, the majority of the population is deficient in this crucial nutrient.

Magnesium is also essential for maintaining electrolyte balance and plays a crucial role in hydration, helping to prevent muscle cramps, reduce fatigue, and support overall energy production.

Vegan vitamin D Vegan vitamin D

Vitamin D3 is crucial for skin health, supporting cell repair and protection from UV damage. This vital vitamin is also important for supporting normal bone health, and immune and muscle function.

Deficiency is common, especially in those following a plant-based diet. We've included a vegan-certified form of vitamin D3, sourced from algae.

A closer look

  • Two dancers perform together. A shirtless man stands closely behind a woman, both with arms entwined in an expressive pose against a textured brick and concrete wall. They wear black dance attire and appear intensely focused.

    IMPORTANCE OF MUSCLE

Muscle is more than strength or aesthetics - it’s essential for health and longevity. Highly metabolically active, muscle burns more calories at rest, improves energy efficiency, and supports mobility. Muscle is key to healthy aging. It supports mobility, strength, and energy efficiency. Maintaining muscle as we age reduces fall risk, curbs inflammation, and fosters independence, so we can continue to enjoy a brave and active life in our later years.

  • A hand with manicured nails holds a glass of water next to a brown jar labeled Ancient + Brave True Creatine+ Advanced Creatine Formula, both placed on a textured stone surface.

    ENERGY PRODUCTION

The mitochondria are the ‘powerhouses’ of our cells that produce ATP, the energy currency of the body. Creatine helps support mitochondrial energy production by aiding ATP regeneration - powering muscle function, endurance, and mental clarity.

  • A person in a green jumpsuit sits by a pool, pouring powder from a tube labeled ANCIENT FORMUL into a clear water bottle. The person wears a beaded bracelet and a sleeveless top.

WILL CREATINE MAKE ME BULK UP?

Contrary to popular belief, creatine won’t make you bulk up. Creatine improves performance and muscle recovery and will not directly lead to unwanted muscle growth or excess size unless paired with regular strength training and a calorie surplus.

  • A woman in a green jumpsuit stretches on a yoga mat outdoors, reaching over her head. In front of her are a bottle of water and a jar of supplement or drink. Lush greenery is visible in the background.

    MAGNESIUM AND VITAMIN D

Magnesium, the ‘master mineral,’ supports ATP production - the energy source that Creatine helps to replenish - while also aiding relaxation and recovery. Vitamin D is important for bone health, muscle function, and immunity but often runs low, especially in winter. Together, Magnesium activates Vitamin D, enhancing its benefits and supporting overall energy and well-being.

  • A person holds a brown glass jar labeled Ancient+Brave True Creatine+ Advanced Creatine Formula with both hands, against a background of dark clothing and a light surface.

    NOT JUST FOR BODYBUILDERS

Creatine often evokes images of gritty 1980s gyms and muscle-bound 'bros' chasing reps. Yet, research reveals Creatine as a powerful, multifaceted nutrient that is essential not only for muscle growth, but also for brain health, cognitive function, energy, and longevity – benefiting far beyond the world of bodybuilding.

6 Reasons Women Should Be Embracing Creatine

FAQs

What is True Creatine+?

True Creatine+ is a premium blend featuring creatine monohydrate, taurine, magnesium, and vitamin D.

Designed to support daily performance, muscle health, and active lifestyles, this comprehensive formula combines well-researched ingredients to complement your wellness routine.

What's the difference between True Creatine+ packets and the jar?

We use the same True Creatine+ formula in both formats. The only difference is convenience.

Our packets are individually portioned and designed for life on the go, making them easy to take while traveling, at work, or during busy days. The jar offers the same daily creatine ritual in a scoopable format for your home routine.

Why should I choose True Creatine+ packets over the jar?

Our jars are perfect for enjoying your ritual at home, while our packets offer convenient, pre-portioned servings for life on the go.

Whether you're traveling, commuting, or heading to the office, packets make it easy to stay consistent with your daily routine wherever you are.

What does True Creatine+ taste like?

True Creatine+ has a neutral taste, making it easy to add to water, smoothies, coffee, or your preferred beverage without significantly altering flavor.

What type of creatine is used in True Creatine+?

True Creatine+ is formulated with creatine monohydrate, one of the most widely studied forms of creatine.

It is vegan-friendly, making it suitable for those following a plant-based lifestyle.

How much True Creatine+ can I take in a day?

Each packet contains 6g, which aligns with the recommended daily serving.

Can I take True Creatine+ packets in my carry-on luggage when flying?

Yes. True Creatine+ packets are powder-based and travel friendly, making them easy to pack for trips and weekends away.

As airport regulations can vary, we recommend checking the latest travel guidelines before flying.

Can I mix True Creatine+ into coffee or a hot drink?

Yes. True Creatine+ can be added to coffee or other hot beverages.

For best results, we recommend adding it to hot rather than boiling liquids and enjoying it shortly after mixing.

Can I take True Creatine+ with other Ancient + Brave products?

Yes. True Creatine+ can be paired with other Ancient + Brave products as part of your daily wellness routine.

Many customers enjoy combining True Creatine+ with True Collagen or Wild Collagen, while others pair it with True Hydrate as part of an active lifestyle routine.

If you are taking other supplements containing magnesium or vitamin D, be mindful of your total intake from all sources and consult your healthcare provider if you have questions.

Is it okay to take multiple Ancient + Brave products at once?

Yes. Ancient + Brave products are designed to complement one another and can generally be taken together as part of a daily routine.

Many people choose to combine products based on their individual wellness goals. As with any supplement routine, we recommend following serving instructions and consulting your healthcare provider if you have questions about your specific needs.

What products pair well with True Creatine+?

True Creatine+ pairs well with several Ancient + Brave rituals depending on your goals:

True Collagen or Wild Collagen for a complementary daily wellness routine.

True Hydrate for hydration and electrolyte support.

True Biome as part of a whole-body wellness routine.

Should I take True Creatine+ before or after a workout?

You can take True Creatine+ at any time of day.

Creatine works by supporting your body's creatine stores over time, so consistency is more important than timing. Whether taken before or after exercise, daily use is key.

Can I take True Creatine+ every day?

Yes. True Creatine+ is designed for daily use and can be incorporated into your routine consistently over time.

Can I take True Creatine+ if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant, nursing, or under medical supervision, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before introducing any new supplement.

How should I mix True Creatine+?

Simply stir, shake, or blend into water, smoothies, coffee, or your favorite beverage and enjoy.

Consistency is more important than the specific preparation method.
